Got Deviled?

…eggs that is.

My family loves deviled eggs, especially in the summer. There is just something refreshing about a cold egg with a creamy center. Yeah, we love ‘em. And along with a salad (topped with chicken and creamy salad dressing)[quote_right]

They’re also a wonderful combination of fat and protein so they make a perfect snack. But the best thing about deviled eggs is that they are really easy and quick to make. So let’s get started!

10 Hard Boiled Eggs, cooled

1/2 cup Homemade Mayo

2-4 tbsp Yellow Mustard (depending on your taste)

Pinch of salt

Paprika (optional)

Peel the eggs. Then cut them in half with a knife and pop out the yolks into a separate bowl. Place the eggs (without the yolks) on a plate or deviled egg plate.
Take a fork and break up the yolks in the bowl (you can use a food processor or handheld blender also). Then add the mayo, mustard, and salt. Mix until creamy and light. Spoon this mixture into the empty eggs on the plate.
Sprinkle with paprika, if you want, and you’re done!

If you’re wondering what type of mustard we use we buy our mustard from Eden Foods. They have a delicious, yellow mustard and a really good brown mustard as well.
